QA Engineer - Data & Analytics Team

LOCATION: Łódź, Warsaw or Tricity (hybrid: 2 days a week from the office)

REMUNERATION: up to 135 pln/h, B2B

We are looking for talented QA Engineers with a strong background in Data Warehouse testing to join our innovative team. You will work collaboratively with our clients on critical projects, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. We are looking for individuals with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology, specifically in the realm of data validation and automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Validate data integrity and ensure flawless testing of data delivery systems,
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases,
• Conduct thorough testing of data workflows within Snowflake and Apache Airflow environments,
• Utilize SQL skills for data validation and assurance,
• Test APIs and data delivery mechanisms through Kafka topics,
• Analyze logs using Splunk for troubleshooting purposes,
• Apply business understanding to assess and validate testing results,
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate feedback into the testing process,
• Monitor data pipelines using Grafana,
• Adapt and learn new technologies while providing feedback for continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and validation,
• Experience in Python for test automation and scripting,
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) and its extensions,
• Understanding of Snowflake (cloud data warehouse) for testing purposes,
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for process orchestration,
• Experience in testing data delivery via Kafka and APIs,
• Strong analytical skills for log analysis using Splunk,
• Knowledge of Grafana for monitoring and reporting,
• Diligent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing,
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience in Agile development environments.
