Are you a knowledgeable Performance Engineer with a passion for optimizing web applications? At emagine, we are seeking a dedicated Application Performance Engineer. The ideal consultant will excel in performance testing, possess strong analytical skills, and bring expertise in application architecture. Join us to drive performance improvements within our Core Banking Application and ensure system users experience unparalleled efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the performance and scalability of Core Banking Application web module. Other responsibilities include:

• Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement performance optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to design performance enhancements.
• Monitor and analyze web application performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and provide recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends in performance engineering.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience (min. 3 years) as a Performance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of application architecture.
• Proficient in performance testing tools, specifically JMeter.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
• Experience with web server configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with Core Banking Applications as a developer or familiarity with Temenos Core Banking would be advantageous.
